As a CDL Class B Truck Driver, -- Roll Off you operate a waste hauling truck to provide residential trash and recycling pick up. Operating around 150 miles of your home, you lift and carry residential waste and deposit into a compactor. Throughout your day, you are attentive to safety and are sure to report any defects, accidents, or violations. You inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues and report preventative maintenance needs to management team. Each day, you are happy to be on the road and not stuck in an office. Responsibilities and Duties Safely operate around 150 miles of home Complete daily pre and post trip inspections Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, break periods etc.) as well as with company policies and procedures Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Report any and all defects, accidents, or violations Carry out other duties as needed or instructed Shift/Schedule Home Daily Monday-Friday Additional hours may be needed Shift is 10-12 Hours We provide weekly pay Multiple Health Plans to choose from, with 50% Company paid Employee and Dependent Plans Vision We Pay for your $25,000 Life Insurance 100% Company Paid Short-Term Disability Insurance Retirement Plan with a company match up to 5% Safety and Retention Incentives Paid Time Off Access to employee discount through LifeMart Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience No more than one moving violation on your MVR within the last 3 years Must be at least 21 years of age CDL Class A/B Ecowaste Solutions offers a competitive base salary, opportunity to earn incentive pay, and a comprehensive employee benefits package.
